Sarah Hicks, MA/EdS, LEP
Licensed Educational Psychologist and School Psychologist
Meet Sarah
I am an educational psychologist with over 15 years of experience in public school settings, where I have supported students with diverse learning profiles, including executive functioning challenges. My work has included psychoeducational assessment, consultation, and direct support for students and families.
I also have experience working with college students, providing executive function coaching to address challenges related to organization, time management, independent living, and the transition to greater autonomy.
My approach is realistic, collaborative, and individualized. I focus on building strong relationships and helping learners develop practical, straightforward systems that increase self-awareness, confidence, independence, and long-term success.
I work with students to understand what is getting in their way and develop strategies that align with their strengths, challenges, and daily routines. Sessions are structured but flexible, allowing us to adjust strategies as students gain insight and independence.
The goal is not just short-term improvement, but helping students build sustainable skills and habits they can carry into high school, college, and beyond. My work is grounded in practical, evidence-informed strategies tailored to each student’s unique profile.
